Property Description
Description: Consider this 315-acre recreational tract of land located at the very northern end of Pike County. Approximately, 215 acres have had the timber removed and is available to replant, convert to pasture, or convert to field. The remaining timber is made up of hardwood and old-growth pine that has Log Creek running through it. Log Creek is a spring-fed southward running stream which runs its course through mature hardwood bottoms. The stream, which is part of about 15 acres of wetland, seems to continue to run even in the driest of times.
This property is an excellent hunting tract of land according to the locals. The deer population is abundant with plenty of tracks on the roads within the property. With over 3400 ft of road frontage that is maintained by the county, this property has a notable internal road system. The system is entered through a new double-gate that leads to some impressive spring heads and stands of timber.
There is power north of the property. Annual taxes are only estimated at $550. With rolling hills and flat ground, this farm is a blank canvas that can be taken in several directions that will accommodate your goals.
